   Guide Introduction & Tour Explanation

   "Kanako Tsune, an eco-tour guide who was born and raised in Tokunoshima. Participants have said, 'I'm glad I asked Tsune to be my guide!' and some have even become repeat visitors. Please enjoy Tsune's tour, filled with her love for her customers and Tokunoshima."

   Moving to the Exploration Area

   You will be traveling by the guide's car. Depending on the meeting place and the area where the experience will take place, the travel time is about 20 to 40 minutes.

   Starting the night forest exploration and wildlife observation!

   We will proceed into the night forest either by car or on foot. Various creatures can be seen not only on the road, but also in puddles on the side, in the trees, and on leaves.You can also see a star-filled sky in the clear weather.

   Amami rabbit (a nationally designated natural monument in Japan)

   It is found only on Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima islands in the world. With its short ears and limbs, it is considered the most primitive among rabbits, and is referred to as a 'living fossil'.

   Ryukyu Scops Owl

   The Ryukyu Scops Owl, a small brown owl, inhabits the nature-rich Tokunoshima. Its can-sized adorable appearance and distinctive call are soothing.
