Schedule

  1. Meet at Kuromatsunai Tourism Association
  2. Get Ready by Putting On Waders (approx. 3-hour tour)
    Waders keep you dry while walking in the river. All equipment is provided, and the guide will assist you in preparation.
  3. Ayu Fishing in Shubuto River
    Shubuto River, a pristine stream in Kuromatsunai, is home to wild ayu found only in southern Hokkaido. Local efforts preserve the ayu population, producing tall, large, and delicious fish.
  4. Walk in the River
    With waders, stay dry as you follow the guide to top spots. "Tomozuri" uses long rods, and the guide assists with permits, bait, and techniques.
