What to expect
Using mashukyoto’s original furoshiki, you’ll dye your favorite letters or numbers with Ise stencils, traditional patterns long used for kimono designs. During the experience, you can also observe skilled artisans at work inside the factory.

※You can select from over 30 different furoshiki. - —Factory tourYou can also observe skilled artisans at work inside the factory, built with a wooden truss structure. The factory, constructed in the Taisho era, is registered as one of the “Buildings and Gardens that Color Kyoto.”
