- —Yamahoko JunkoOn July 17th, a procession of 23 floats takes place, led by the Naginata Hoko. Highlights include the powerful "Tsujimawashi," where massive floats dynamically turn at intersections, enchanting Gion-bayashi music, and dazzling decorative textiles.

- —Yamahoko JunkoOn July 24th, 11 floats join the procession. A key highlight is the "Kuji-aratame" (lottery inspection ceremony). Since the parade order is drawn in advance, the Mayor of Kyoto performs a ritual during the event to verify that all floats are in their correct positions.
