What to expect

This is a rare experience in Japan where you can extract Akoya pearls from Akoya oysters. The pearls you harvest can be crafted into unique accessories such as straps and pendants, allowing you to create a one-of-a-kind piece.

   Choose your pearl oyster

   Please choose your preferred Akoya oyster from the tank. The color and size of the pearl will be a surprise when you open it.

   Open the shell

   Use a spatula to delicately open the shell and remove the pearl.

   Create a one-of-a-kind accessory

   The extracted pearl can be crafted into a strap or pendant. It takes about 15 minutes to complete. A pearl you extract yourself is sure to become a cherished item.
