I wasn't worried since my daughter is naturally good at swimming, and the instructor closely watched the children, so it seemed fine even for kids who couldn't swim. My child looked very happy playing with a family that had a 6-year-old boy. We drove to a nearby beach, descended a steep slope, and slowly walked into the sea.
