SUP Experience with Certified SUPA Instructor – Departing from Chatan

What to expect
This SUP course is led by certified instructors from SUPA (Japan SUP Association) and ISA (International Surfing Association). Beginners are welcome! Learn proper techniques and safety tips while enjoying the experience.

- —Meet On-site or Hotel Pickup *Start time may vary depending on the tide.
- —Check-in & ChangingAfter check-in and changing, transfer to the SUP point by car 2–10 min depending on conditions.
*Free parking is available at the shop. Pickup in Chatan is also provided.
*Tour times vary depending on the tide on the day. The exact start time will be informed after your reservation is confirmed. - —Briefing & Land LessonUpon arrival, the instructor will give a safety briefing and explain how to use the board and paddle, as well as tips to avoid danger.
You’ll also practice balancing on land before entering the water. - —SUP Experience on the WaterStart by sitting on the board to get used to paddling.
Once comfortable, try standing up and enjoy cruising!
The instructor will be nearby at all times and tailor the session to your level and the sea conditions. - —Photo TimePhotos may be taken with a waterproof camera if timing allows.
Photo data will be provided free of charge. - —Course EndsHot showers and changing rooms are available after the session.
