What to expect
Japanese manga has a rich history of traditional analog creation methods. At the Manga Artist Experience, you'll use tools like G-pens and tone sheets to create your own artwork, gaining a deeper appreciation for the medium.

- —Meet at the 1st floor lobby of Chiyoda Ward Office
- —Create a rough sketch in your own styleLet's have fun with the drafting process while learning the techniques for drawing manga, from basic drawing methods to how to depict characters' expressions and movements.

- —Clean up the drawing with a penYou will trace over the rough sketch and clean it up with a pen. In the case of analog drawing, you use a tool called a dip pen and draw while applying ink.
- —Customize using a tool called "tone""Tone" refers to something like a sticker, which is a thin, transparent film printed with gray dots or patterns. You apply it over the manuscript and cut it out with a cutter.
- —Finishing workFinally, finish up and it's complete! You can take the finished manga home with you.
- —Photo session (optional for those who wish)
- —Experience ends, disband on site.
