Fun Diving for Certified Divers: 1-Boat or 2-Boat Options
What to expect
This fun diving course is for certified divers. A guide will lead you to Yakushima's top dive sites to see sea turtles, abundant fish, and dynamic topography. Refresher options are available for those with a gap in their diving history.

- —Meeting / Pick-up
- —Equipment Prep & Travel (15–30 mins)Please wear your swimsuit under your clothes and have a towel ready. After filling out the registration form, we will head to the sea. The drive from the shop to Isso takes about 15 minutes.
- —Departure (3–15 mins)Boat travel time to the dive site is about 3–5 minutes in the Isso area. If we dive in the Nagata area, it takes about 10–15 minutes.
- —1st DiveThe staff choose sites based on your experience level:
・Isso Sites: Yakushima's signature area for all levels. Relaxed vibe with rich marine life.
・Nagata Sites (Inter./Adv.): Deeper with strong currents, but offers top visibility, big pelagic fish, and rare macro critters. - —Surface Interval (Resting on Land)Head back based on your air consumption, so beginners don't need to worry. Since the harbor is close to the dive sites, break on land—ideal for those prone to seasickness. Restrooms are available.
- —2nd DiveAfter a short break, head for the second dive at a different site!
- —Return to Port
- —Shower & ChangeFully equipped shower and changing rooms are available. (From late July to late August, we can also use the nearby Isso Beach facilities and wrap up directly on-site.)
- —Logbook SplittingRelax in spacious shop while logging your dives. The place often display your underwater photos on large monitor while chatting. If you need to head out early, the staff can provide the dive data during payment and drop you off at your lodging before logbook time.
